PRO-NOX
To ensure you’re as comfortable as possible during RF Microneedling in Raleigh, you’ll be given a topical numbing agent as well as have access to our PRO-NOX device to self-administer as needed. PRO-NOX is an inhalable pain reduction gas that dentists’ offices have been using for years; it combines nitrous oxide and oxygen for subtle and almost-instantaneous pain relief. During your treatment, you’ll simply inhale through the mouthpiece to reach your desired comfort level. Most improved results will typically be noticeable 90 days following your third and final treatment. However, the number of treatments and results vary depending on your skin condition. Your physician will advise on what to expect.
While overall tolerance varies depending on the type of treatment and person, RF Microneedling is generally well accepted. To help ensure you’re comfortable, you’ll be given PRO-NOX nitrous oxide for pain management and a topical numbing cream is also offered to provide additional relief.
Three treatments is the standard for the most significant results, with the most optimal results being seen 90 days after your third and final treatment. One of our expert skin providers will discuss the optimal number of treatments needed based on your skin condition and goals.
