How SkinVive™ Works
SkinVive™ is a first-of-its-kind treatment that utilizes hyaluronic acid (HA) to hydrate the skin from within. HA is a naturally-occurring substance in the skin that we lose as we age. HA works by not only adding volume but by delivering vital nutrients and helping the skin maintain hydration and softness.
Benefits of SkinVive™
Safe for all Skin Types
One of the great things about SkinVive™ is that it is safe for all skin types and Fitzpatrick types. This makes it a great treatment for anyone looking to regain supple and hydrated skin.
Hydration + Collagen
SkinVive™ works by injecting hyaluronic acid into precise layers of the skin so that your body can restore it’s natural hydration levels. This treatment also encourages your body to product it’s own collagen, which also contributes to a more hydrated and youthful appearance.
Award-Winning Provider
Synergy is proud to be in the Top 50 Allergan accounts in the nation, and voted Best Med Spa in the Triangle year after year!
FAQs
The key difference between the two is that the products in the Juvederm family of fillers are designed to add volume and structure beneath the skin to help improve an aging appearance. These fillers can create contours in your jawline, add a plumpness to your pout, or help define your cheekbones. SkinVive™, on the other hand, focuses on improving the actual quality of the skin, improving hydration on the surface of the skin.
*These treatments may be used together, depending on your desired results, and the recommendation of our Expert CANS-Certified Nurse Injectors.
SkinVive™ treatment is very comfortable! SkinVive™ is a product that includes built-in lidocaine in its formula to ensure that patients are comfortable during and post-treatment. Most patients do not report discomfort beyond a minor and manageable level, and due to our careful and tested techniques, experience even less discomfort than is standard.
While results are not permanent, they are long-lasting. SkinVive™ treatment results can last 6 to 8 months, but we recommend most patients receive treatment every 6 months for maximum impact. Results may vary.
