How do they work?

Volbella and Vollure were created using a technology call Vycross. Vycross technology holds hyaluronic acid molecules together in a gel that stays intact when injected into the skin.
The technology links high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid together. The combination of the molecular weight produces a gel that is firm enough to plump up and support sunken skin, yet flexible enough to move with natural facial expressions.
Furthermore, the Vycross technology has been proven to cause less swelling than fillers developed differently which means that the time needed to recover is shorter.

How is the procedure performed?

Both treatments are performed in the same way, however, each treatment focuses on different areas of the face. The Volbella and Vollure solutions contain a numbing agent that aims to make your procedure as comfortable as possible and numbing creams can be applied to the injection site prior to treatment.
