Arm Lift
Arm Lift in Raleigh North Carolina
Tighten + Tone Your Arms
As we age, our bodies naturally change. Loose, flabby arm skin could be one of these changes. This can be a result of drastic weight loss or the natural aging process, where the individual is left with excess skin. An arm lift, also known as a Brachioplasty, erases excess arm skin and fat deposits uncovering a youthful, contoured arm. Dr. Hughes and his team of surgeons strive to deliver expert results that you’ll feel happy with.

Recovery
Time:
The healing process after an arm lift moves fairly quickly. The first two days allow for some rest and relaxation to overcome the surgery. After a few days, you can return to your normal, daily activities. The results will leave you feeling relaxed and confident in your own skin.

Treatment Details
Each individual’s surgery will be slightly different, due to their own physical traits and characteristics.
Incisions
Dr.Hughes and his experienced team will make incisions on the inside or the back of the arm that could follow through to the underarm and above the elbow. Determining the incision length and amount is unique to the individual. If fat is being reduced as well, it will be excised or a Liposuction treatment.
Liposuction
To remove excess fat, liposuction may also be introduced during surgery to decrease the amount of fatty tissue under the arms.
FAQ’s
Dr.Hughes will discuss post-procedural care to overcome excess scarring. Although brachioplasty tends to result in more intense scarring, many patients believe that removing saggy and loose skin is a fair trade-off in the long run.
