You will see phenomenal results from just your initial microblading session, however treatment is not fully complete until you’ve come back for your touch-up appointment 4 to 6 weeks later. This gives your brows time to fully heal and settle before making any final adjustments.
Your microblading results will last up to two years, depending on your skin type, hair color, lifestyle and aftercare. During this time, depending on how your body metabolizes the pigment, you may get them touched up to refresh the look. When done by an expert, your brows will gently fade over time, allowing for any changes in preferences over time.
After you’ve consulted with our microblading specialist to answer any questions and review the process, you will work together to create an outline of your ideal arches. Once you are happy with the shape, she will create a customized blend of pigments based off your preferences to achieve your ideal brow color. Using a special medical-grade tool, she will create hair-like strokes that are then filled with the pigment. Total treatment is usually around 2 hours which allows ample time for any adjustments along the way.
Like regular tattooing, there is a certain level of discomfort associated with microblading that comes from depositing pigment underneath the skin. At Synergy, we offer high-strength topical anesthetic for pain management. We can assure you that you will be as comfortable as possible during your treatment.
Total healing time after treatment is about two weeks. During this time, your freshly microbladed brows may appear darker and more defined than expected, but this is completely normal and they will lighten up once fully healed. There may also be some scabbing and peeling (only noticeable up close!), which is a normal part of the healing process.
