About the position.

Location:

• Raleigh, NC

Hours Required:

• 40 hours per week.
• Most working days are Monday-Friday.

Deadline for Application:

Day-to-day:

• Work onsite directly under the Brand Director to help with preparation and execution on a variety of projects (e.g. web/email promotions, print collateral, social media posts and promotions, video recording/editing, and event promotion/planning).
• Work and learn (virtually) alongside existing offsite graphic designer during a transitional phase for the first 1-2 months. Our existing graphic designer has been with the company since 2014, serving in various roles, but is transitioning out to pursue other projects. You will be given training, assistance and feedback during your initial period to help ensure you are fully prepared to take over the role at the end of the transitional phase.
• Help organize existing marketing efforts, records and files.
• Help distribute and obtain marketing materials.

Requirements:

• At least 1-2 years of professional experience preferred.
• Must be proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Word + PowerPoint, Google Docs + Sheets, as well as have some understanding of CSS/HTML fundamentals.
• WordPress experience and knowledge strongly preferred, but not required.
• Other technologies/platforms used in this position include:  Infusionsoft, TouchMD, Zapier, Google Suite + Page management, Lucidpress, Issuu, Spaboom, Shopify, QRStuff, Socio, Vimeo, Instagram and Facebook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and take critiques and feedback without issue.
• Outstanding attention to detail, with strong ethic of personal responsibility.
• Must not have worked with any other medical spa, spa or plastic surgery practice within a 20 mile radius in the last year.

Additional details:

• MacBook Pro laptop will be provided.
• Working hours will mostly be at our North Raleigh location in the Marketing Department offices, sometimes at our Inside the Beltline location, and some off-site locations within the Raleigh area.
• During special events, some additional hours may be required, which can be offset with requested time off.
• When working at the Raleigh locations, all black attire is required (per dress code policy).
• Due to the nature and responsibility of this position, a signed non-compete agreement will be required.

Virtual interview:

All applications will be thoroughly reviewed, though we may not be able to personally respond to every submission.  We will select our top tier of candidates by Friday, July 3rd.

• Virtual interviews will be conducted between Wednesday, July 8th and Friday, July 10th.
• Virtual interviews will be scheduled online.
• Interviewee must be available and able to conduct virtual interview, with internet access and video-equipped device.
• In-person interviews for our initial round will not take place to ensure safety for all involved.
• Final-round interviews may take place in person at our North Raleigh location.

While originally from Tampa, AnnaMarie graduated in 2017 with a degree in journalism from the University of South Carolina and has since found her niche here at Synergy working on everything from content creation to social media to event coordination. In her free time, you can find her staying active outdoors, repotting her plant babies or turning her apartment into a recipe test kitchen.
